Maynila pinarangalan ng NCC

MANILA, Philippines - Malaking tagumpay sa lungsod ng Maynila ang parangal ng National Competitiveness Council bilang top 3 sa Economic Dynamism sa Competitiveness Index ng halos 136 na syudad sa buong Pilipinas.

Nasa ikatlong puwesto ang Maynila habang nanguna ang  Parañaque at sinundan ng Makati.

Ayon kay Manila Vice Mayor Isko Moreno, napaka­laking bagay ito sa syudad dahil lubog sa utang at bangkarote ang pamahalaan nuong pumasok sila nuong nakaraang taon. “Mayor Erap deserves all the credit for this! He turned Manila around in less than 1 year amidst the financial difficulties,” ani Moreno.

Hindi  maikakaila ang  tulong ng  lahat ng mga masi­sipag na department heads at empleyado, lalung-lalo na ang buong suporta at tiwala ng City Council.

Idinagdag ni Moreno na marami pang pagsubok at trabahong darating ngunit nanatili siya sa kumpyansa at kakayahan ni Estrada.

Ang National Competitiveness Council ay binubuo ng Department of Trade and Industry, USAID at iba pang ahensya ng  gobyerno at lokal na pamahalaan.
