Malungkot ang listeners ng radio station na Wave 89.1 dahil off the air na ito nang maglabas ito ng statement na hindi na sila mapakikinggan sa ere.

Bahagi ng stament ng pamunuan, “While ur heart is being pinched we wanna officially announce that Wave 89.1 has made its final broadcast.

“So many memories. Good times and bad. Laughter and tears. WE CHANGED THE GAME. No one can say otherwise.

“Thanks to all the former djs, managers, directors, techs, guests and anyone who has ever set foot in our studio. You helped us make history.” #WaveGoodbye.

Kalungkot lalo na sa workers ng istasyon at makikinig na naging bahagi na ng daily lives ang Wave 89.1.
