Zanjoe at Bea tatlong anak ang pinaplano
Halata during an interview with Zanjoe Marudo, after the presscon of his upcoming series, Dream Dad, na iritado siya with the existing report na may ‘di pagkakaunawaang namamagitan sa kasalukuyan sa kanila ng kanyang girlfriend of nearly three years, Bea Alonzo.
Ni katiting daw na away ay walang namamagitan sa kanila. Feeling daw nila ni Bea they know each other too well, that’s why.
On the issue kung bakit ‘di niya directly masagot kung kailan siya magpu-propose kay Bea, may takdang panahon daw para rito. After all, he reasoned, bagama’t napag-usapan nila ni Bea ang tungkol sa kasal, ‘di pa sila both handa.
They are focused on their respective careers, which, no need to say, are both doing well. While Bea, after her series, Sana Bukas na Lang Kita Mamahalin is working on a new movie with Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta, and his new series, Dream Dad, is set to air Monday next week.
Kung bakit siya excited about Dream Dad, is a given, he admitted. Ewan daw, but his young leading-lady in the series, five year-old Jana Agoncillo, is simply a delight to work with.
Like Andrea Brillantes, 10 years old, in their last series together, Annaliza, Jana also plays Zanjoe’s adopted daughter in Dream Dad.
Asked if he would consider adopting a baby girl?
‘‘Well, bagama’t I wouldn’t know if a baby is presented to me for adaption, but of course, ang gusto ko pa rin sariling anak.
‘‘Capable pa naman kami ni Bea na magka-anak, if ever. In fact, we both want to have three children,’’ dugtong pa ni Zanjoe. ‘‘Although, if God permits na magkaroon kami ng more than three, most welcome ang bagay na ito.’’
Lalo na raw on the part of Bea, who only has a younger step brother, tukoy pa ni Zanjoe.
Empoy matindi pa rin ang tama kay Kaye Abad
Guess kung sino ang greatest crush ever since ni Empoy Marquez, the most promising among all young comedians.
‘‘Si Kaye Abad po,’’ Empoy articulated, at the launch of ATeam Entertainment, a talent management agency na pinamumunuan ni Ogie Alcasid.
Empoy is among ATeam’s roster of talents, which also include former PDA (Pinoy Dream Academy) finalist, Davey Langit, singer-composer Lara Maigue, whose entry in the first Philpop competition, Sa ’yo na Lang Ako, was sung by Karylle, and the duo, Q-York, who are both from New York.
“As you can see, ako ang unang contractee na komedyante ng ATeam,” pagmamalaki ni Empoy.
‘‘Si Sir Ogie kasi, kahit siya ang owner at manager ng ATeam, ‘di siya mina-manage ng agency na pag-aari niya.’’
To date, according to Ogie, he still has for his talent manager, Leo Dominguez, who owns and manages naman his own talent and management agency, bearing his initial LD.
Neither is his wife, Regine Velasquez, under contract to ATeam. Her sister, Cacai Velasquez-Mitra is still the one who has a say on Regine’s career.
‘‘I believe na magiging mahusay siyang talent manager para sa akin,’’ ani Empoy. ‘‘The two of us worked together na sa isa o dalawang shows ng TV5. And we got along well.’’
Now, going back to Kaye, whose current series, Two Wives, is doing the ratings, does she knows na may matinding crush siya (Empoy) rito? At matagal na niya itong ninu-nurture?
‘‘Hindi na dapat pang malaman niya,’’ sagot ni Empoy. ‘‘Sapat na para sa akin na hinahangaan ko siya.’’
Alam din daw ni Empoy na may boyfriend si Kaye sa kasalukuyan, former PBB housemate, Paul Jake Castillo. At naging ex nito ang singers na sina Chito Miranda at Guji Lorenzana.
