Pokwang excited na sa ipapatayong restaurant!

Comedienne Pokwang may soon realized her dream to own and manage her own restaurant, katulong ang anak na si Ria Mae Subong, who is a Culinary Arts graduate from Enderun Colleges.

Huwag isnabin itong si Ria, since, if we remember right, nag-OJT (on the job training) siya sa isang restaurant sa France.

Posible raw na sa Antipolo, where Pokwang her family reside, ipapatayo ang restaurant, which equally nga pala excited din ang kanyang American partner, Lee O’Brien, dad of her now nearly three year-old daughter, Malia.

Pokwang wants daw her restaurant to specia­lize in Filipino cuisine. Her ginisang ampalaya with egg and fried tinapa are both favorite raw ng mga kaibigang iniimbitahan niyang kumain sa kanilang bahay.

What is keeping Pokwang busy right now is the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2019 entry, Mission Unstapabol: The Don Identity, co-starring her with Vic Sotto and Maine Mendoza.

Also in the cast of Mission Unstapabol…, directed by Linette Zurbano and co-produced by APT Entertainment and M-Zet Production, are Wally Bayola at Jake Cuenca.

The 45th MMFF will run from December 25, 2019 to January 7, 2020.

UNILAB nagpa-mass kay Isah

Nestor Cuartero, Journalism professor sa UST at entertainment columnist both sa Manila Bulletin at Tempo, thinks na masuwerte ang a­ting dear and late friend na si Isah Red for having been a part of SPEED (Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors), kung saan nagsilbi rin siyang Presidente for two years, as he found a true and loyal friends among its officers and members.

It was his 40th day of passing noong Wednesday (October 30) and SPEED, together with special guests from UNILAB (United Laboratory) gathered together for a special intention mass for Isah.

SPEED, of course, was headed by its current President, Ian Fariñas, entertainment editor ng Peoples Tonight. Ang UNILAB friends ang nag-sponsor ng event, headed naman by UNILAB External Affairs head, Claire D. Papa at Rexan Dayao, also of UNILAB External Affairs.

Fr. Ruben Mandin, MI, officiated the mass. Maganda ang mga inawit ng mga seminaristang kasama ni Fr. Mandin, call of the Saint Camillus de Lellis Seminary.

Saint Camillius pala, Salve A., is the patron saint of the sick, hospitals, nurses and physicians.

In any case, before the event, kumbaga, was over, a raffle, courtesy of the UNILAB guests, was held.

15 electric fans were raffled off. I was lucky to have won one electric fan.

There were giveaways as well of medical pro­ducts from UNILAB.

Sa ABS-CBN naman, kare-renew lang din ng contract ni Gary Valenciano, who had with her wife Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano in tow.

Angeli, we should all know, is the talent ma­nager of Gary.

In any case, present naman sa pagpirmang muli ng kontrata ni Gary bilang Kapamilya ay sina ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez, ABS-CBN President and chief executive officer Carlo Katigbak, chief operating officer of broadcast Cory Vidanes, head of treasury, investor relations, business decision support and finance ope­rations cluster 2 Rick Tan, and head of narrative program Luis Andrata.

Solenn hindi pa puwedeng tularan ni Anne

Baby Girl ang panganay nina Solenn Heussaff and her Argentinian husband Nico Bolzico, due raw  this January 2020.

Meanwhile, don’t make the mistake na tanungin ang sister in-law ni Solenn na si Anne Curtis kung kailan naman siya magbubuntis ng kanilang first baby ng asawang si Erwan Heussaff, younger and only brother ni Solenn.
