He also have high regards for Masa Ohtake and Diego dalla Palma, both of whom he knows personally because he has worked with them. Patrick believes that “makeup is created to beautify you.”

Read on as Patrick shares with us his Top 10 makeup tips.

1. A good skin care regimen is a must because a clean face radiates and creates positive energy. Also, according to experts, hydration is key to having good skin so, regularly drink water or use facial water atomizer for instant moisture. Water is life, indeed. And, if needed, asking for a little help about skin issues from a dermatologist or a surgeon will do magic.

2. Use a good skin corrector, foundation or tinted moisturizer for minor skin imperfections.

3. Don’t stick to one look. There are looks you can discover out there. Get inspiration from things, places or people. Start by looking for the perfect shade of lipstick for you. I normally combine two colors to achieve the perfect shade I need. You may also ask for suggestions from a professional makeup artist.

4. Nowadays, having perfectly shaped eyebrows is a must. Impeccably shaped and contoured eyebrows complete your look.

5. Eyeliner is your BFF. It gives the eyes definition and drama, may it be for daytime or nighttime look.

6.Go bold with those lashes. Those who are blessed with lush lashes like the iconic Elizabeth Taylor may simply use mascara and an eyelash curler and they’re ready to go. But for others who would like to enhance their lashes, find the perfect false eyelashes that suit you  in any professional beauty store.

7. Have fun with different shades of eyeshadow. There’s nothing wrong in using the usual black, brown and gray hues. But remember, just like your lipstick, you can always play with eyeshadow colors like violet, green or blue. I normally combine colors to create my own variations  depending on the person that I am working on.

8. Blush it away! Get that fresh-looking flush or slight contour on the cheeks with so many blush-on shades available in the market — from blush pink to terracotta.

9. Don’t be afraid to use additional “effects.” These include shimmers, glitters, highlighters, etc. They come in liquid, cream or powder form. Using these products adds drama to your look especially at night.

10. Believe in the magic of loose powder. Using it as a finishing touch  softens the total effect of any makeup application variations, may it be for day or night, glamorous or au naturel.
