BDO Speakers Bureau teaches skills in personality development

MANILA, Philippines - Volunteers from the BDO Speakers Bureau conducted four sessions of the Personality Development Program on Nov. 28, 2009, Feb. 27 and March 20, 2010 for CARD-MRI employees in Bay, Laguna, and March 6, 2010 in Davao City.

The training program aims to explain the importance of a professional image among CARD Bank and CARD-MRI employees, focusing on corporate image/attire, social graces and etiquette including table manners, poise/posture and professional grooming. Participants were given hands-on sessions on techniques of projecting a corporate image through appropriate attire, behavior and office decorum with a special make–up workshop for the ladies.

Seven officers and staff members: Jennifer Oroceo, HRM training asst. manager; Amilynn Vinas, CLG manager; Irene Salud, SM Cubao branch asst. manager-marketing; Reychille Suria, JAM of Customer Contact Center; Grace Panuncialman, branch manager of Davao-Rizal Branch; Juvy Ong, branch manager of Davao-Narra Branch; and Aisha Gutierrez, executive assistant of the Mindanao Region head alternately conducted and co-facilitated the sessions. Over 100 officers and staff of CARD-MRI actively participated in the lecture and workshops.    

BDO Volunteers from the Speakers Bureau provide training and consultancy in finance, accounting, credit, computer literacy to help improve the skills of people working with NGOs and micro-finance organizations including cooperatives.
