Some motorcycles now using sidewalks

STAND YOUR GROUND. A man who frequents walks home along Juan Luna Avenue in Barangay Mabolo said motorcycles sometimes drive on the sidewalk especially during heavy traffic congestion.

He said he likes to walk on the Seminary Mayor de San Carlos side because the sidewalk is wide, however, motorcycles also drive on the sidewalk to escape traffic during the evening.

He said one time he got so fed he stopped yielding for motorcycles, standing his ground and forcing them to dodge him instead.

“Kas-a gipipitan pa ko, pero akong giingnan ‘sidewalk man ni, di man ni dan, nganon’g magpadaplin man ko?’” he told The EAR.
