Toy gun toter

TOTING A TOY GUN. A retired Constabulary officer, now in his 80s, totes a toy gun in his waist for no other reason than to make himself feel he’s still a soldier. He said he had been toting a .45 for 30 years starting as a private until he became a colonel in the Phil Constabulary.

FEELING SAFE. “Lainan ko nga wa’y gitakin nga pistola,” he said. “So bisan toy gun lang basta naay nakasuksuk sa akong hawak OK na ang feeling ko.” He told an Ear informer that he feels safe if he’s toting a gun even if it’s only a toy.
