Road closures in and around Escario St.

- The Ear -

WITHOUT WARNING. Many motorists going home after “Sabado Night” were enraged when a road was closed without warning, forcing them to make illegal U-turns along Archbishop Reyes Ave. when they saw that the right lane beside the flyover was closed and the road blocked by a truck used at a nearby construction site. An Ear informer saw this road closure past 2AM Sunday dawn. He said, “Purwisyo na kaayo ni sila da. Kalit sila mosirado sa dalan nga walay warning. Sirado ang Escario. Sirado ang J. Solon. Karon gisirado na sab nila ning right lane? Grabe na ni. Gahasol-hasol gyud sila sa katawhan.”

MAYOR, PLEASE HELP. Motorists traveling along Archbishop Reyes usually take the right lane beside the flyover and make a left turn towards Parklane Hotel. But with the road closure Sunday dawn, motorists going to C.S. Rosal and J. Solon Sts. were forced to make U-turns and find whatever available route they could take. Another motorist told The Ear, “Pwede ba ni ipa-imbistiga ni Mayor Osmeña kung unsay iyang mahimo ani para maibanan ang kahasol nga gibuhat aning pagsirado sa mga dalan diring dapita?”
