Isko sworn in as Manila mayor?

MANILA, Philippines — Manila mayor-elect Isko Moreno has reportedly taken his oath of office ahead of the supposed oath-taking on June 30.

“We have received information that he took his oath as the new Manila mayor in a simple ceremony this afternoon, with his family present,” Moreno’s group Yorme’s Choice posted on Facebook yesterday.

His camp has yet to confirm or deny the information.

Moreno reclaimed the Manila city hall after defeating Mayor Honey Lacuna.

Meanwhile, the Commission on Elections said winning and losing candidates are required to submit their statement of contributions and expenses by June 11.
