Bus driver dead in Quezon road mishap

MANILA, Philippines — A bus driver died while nine people were injured when the vehicle crashed into two houses along Maharlika Highway in Sitio Mangrove, Barangay Ibabang Palsabango in Pagbilao, Quezon on Tuesday night.

Police said the driver of the DLTB bus was maneuvering a sharp curve when the accident occurred. The bus also rammed a mango tree then hit a tricycle and a motorcycle.

The bus driver, identified only as Manuel, died at the scene.
