Lone bettors win Grand, Mega Lotto pots

MANILA, Philippines — Lone bettors won the jackpots in the Grand Lotto 6/55 and Mega Lotto 6/45 draws on Monday night, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

A bettor from Central Signal, Taguig guessed the six-digit winning combination 11-17-28-06-09-01 with a total jackpot prize of P29,700,000 in the Grand Lotto 6/55.

The PCSO said 80 bettors won the second prize of P100,000 each for guessing five of the six-digit winning combination in the Grand Lotto 6/55 while 2,797 bettors won P1,500 each for third prize.

Meanwhile, the PCSO announced that a bettor from Novaliches, Quezon City won a jackpot of P8,910,000 in the Mega Lotto 6/45.

The lone winner guessed the six-digit combination 22-08-20-02-01-45 in the Mega Lotto 6/45.

The PCSO said 43 other bettors won P32,000 each for second prize after guessing five of the six-digit winning combination in the Mega Lotto 6/45.

The Grand Lotto 6/55 and Mega Lotto 6/45 are drawn on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Lotto winnings above P10,000 are subject to 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law.
