P1.5 million shabu seized in Laguna

MANILA, Philippines — Shabu with an estimated street value of P1.5 million was seized in Cabuyao, Laguna on Friday.

Police said the illegal drug was found following a search on a house owned by Virgilio Amacan Jr. in Barangay Marining at around 12:32 p.m.

The raiding team also reportedly recovered a weighing scale and drug paraphernalia from Amacan’s house.

Charges of violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act will be filed against the suspect.
