2 drug suspects held, P6.8 million shabu seized in Jolo

COTABATO CITY – Shabu worth P6.8 million was seized from two suspected drug dealers in Jolo, Sulu on Monday.

Madjid Arandani Sala and Alfagar Asgali were arrested after allegedly selling a kilo of shabu to agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and Sulu police anti-narcotics operatives who posed as buyers.

The suspects and the confiscated illegal drugs were brought to the PDEA office in Sulu for investigation.

Last week, personnel of the BARMM police, military and PDEA seized 300 grams of shabu worth P2.04 million in Saguiaran, Lanao del Sur.
