Land titles for Mindoro farmers signed

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) is preparing to distribute certificates of land ownership awards (CLOAs) to 220 farmer-beneficiaries in Oriental Mindoro.

DAR acting Secretary Bernie Cruz recently signed the CLOAs covering 346 hectares of the 700-hectare property of the Mindoro State University (MinSU).

“The property of the MinSU, which straddles the villages of Alcate and Villa Cerveza in the town of Victoria, was placed under the coverage of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program as provided under Executive Order 75 signed by President Dutere in 2019,” Cruz said.
