MANILA, Philippines — After extending aid to the people of Masbate, Sen. Bong Go personally carried out another distribution activity in Legazpi City, Albay as part of his continuing commitment to help communities devastated by calamities recover more quickly and build back better.

At least 300 typhoon victims benefited from the relief efforts held at the Legazpi City Convention Center on Friday.

Each beneficiary received meals, food packs, vitamins, masks and face shields. Residents observed  social distancing during the distribution.

Select beneficiaries received new shoes while those facing difficulties in commuting to work were given bicycles.

Others with children studying at home under the blended learning set-up were given gadgets or tablets.

Go encouraged those in urgent need of medical treatment to seek assistance from his office.

He informed the residents that they could avail themselves of medical assistance from the government through the Malasakit Center established at the Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital in Legazpi City.
