LIST: Class suspensions for August 25

MANILA, Philippines — Several local government units suspended classes on Friday due to inclement weather brought by Tropical Storm Jolina.

Authorities in most provinces in Cordillera suspended classes before 9 a.m. Most elementary and high school students who were already in class were sent home.
Tourism activities like hiking, trekking and spelunking in Mt. Pulag in Kabayan, Benguet, Mt. Purgatory in Itogon, Benguet and Sagada Mountain Province were also suspended by the Environment department's park management officials.
