2 killed in Calabarzon shootings

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – Two men were killed in separate shootings in Batangas and Rizal on Saturday night.

Rommel Endaya died at the scene after he was shot by a lone assailant, who fled after the incident.

Endaya was walking in Lipa City, Batangas when he was killed at around 7:30 p.m.

In Rizal, Nestor Villaflor was waiting for a ride in Antipolo City when he was shot by two motorcycle-riding assailants at around 8:15 p.m.

Police have yet to determine the motive for the killings.
