Maguindanao vice mayor’s cop wife shot dead

COTABATO CITY, Philippines – Motorcycle-riding men shot dead a policewoman in Sultan Kudarat on Tuesday. 

Police Officer 3 Lilibeth Sabal and her companions were in a Toyota Hilux parked along the road in Barangay Buenaflor in Tacurong City when the assailants arrived and opened fire with .45-caliber pistols. 

Sabal was the wife of Talitay, Maguindanao Vice Mayor Abdul Wahab Sabal. 

Superintendent Rannie Hachuela, Tacurong City police chief, said one of Sabal’s companion, Sammy Alimuddin, was wounded in the gun attack.
