NCRPO: Zero-crime rate during 9-day Simbang Gabi

MANILA, Philippines — The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) on Thursday said the nine-day "Simbang Gabi" ended peacefully and orderly.

NCRPO spokesperson Chief Insp. Kimberly Molitas said there are no violent or major criminal incident reported during the Simbang Gabi vigil which started before dawn December on 16 and ended early morning on December 24.

Molitas said there was a huge percentage of the NCRPO's patrol force assigned during the nine-day vigil to ensure peaceful conclusion of the religious event.

Molitas said there were a total of 224 churches in the five districts Northern, Eastern, Manila, Quezon City and Southern Police Districts secured by the NCRPO operatives.
