Mild quake shakes Vigan

MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude-3.3 earthquake shook Vigan City in Ilocos Sur yesterday but no damage was reported, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

 Phivolcs said the epicenter of the tremor was located 22 kilometers northwest of Vigan, where it was felt at Intensity 3.

The agency said the quake was tectonic in origin.
