Surigao Sur church burglarized

BUTUAN CITY, Philippines   â€“ Another church, this time in Tagbina town in Surigao del Sur, fell prey to burglars who took its collections amounting to P70,000 last Tuesday night, police said.

The burglary at the convent of the Mother of Perpetual Help Parish Church was discovered Wednesday morning.

Last month, a church in Barangay Doongan this city also lost valuables, its collections and an electronic organ to burglars. Two other churches here were also previously burglarized.
