6 dead, 8 hurt in Maguindanao collision

MANILA, Philippines - Six persons were killed and eight others were injured when a sport utility vehicle and a truck collided in Parang, Maguindanao yesterday afternoon.

Senior Superintendent Rodelio Jocson, Maguindanao police director, said investigators have yet to identify the victims of the accident that occurred along the national highway in Barangay Sarmiento at around 3 p.m. 

Jocson said the wounded were brought to a hospital in Cotabato City.

Initial reports stated that a Toyota Innova and a 10-wheeler truck were involved in the accident.
