GenSan robbers cart away P.5 M

KORONADAL CITY, Philippines – Unidentified men robbed two people in front of a bank in General Santos City Monday noon and carted away P500,000, police said.

Reports reaching The STAR said the victims, Ofelia Dideles and Jeoffrey Demonteverde, were inside a car and about to leave the premises of Insular Bank on Pioneer Avenue when the suspects shot at them and forcibly took their money.

The suspects also shot at a security guard, who witnessed the robbery, when he tried to help the victims.
