April 4, 2005 | 12:00am
CLARK FIELD, Pampanga As she has religiously done even before she took over Malacañang in 2001, President Arroyo will celebrate her 58th birthday tomorrow in Pampanga, her home-province.
Mrs. Arroyo is slated to arrive here today as guest of honor and speaker at the third anniversary of the United Parcels Service (UPS) Intra-Asia Hub at the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA).
Local officials said they expect the President to attend an early morning Mass on her birthday tomorrow either at the cathedral of the City of San Fernando, as she did during her birthday last year, or at the parish church of Lubao, the birthplace of her late father, former President Diosdado Macapagal.
The President is also expected to lead the ground-breaking of the long-delayed P26.1-billion, 90-kilometer Subic-Clark-Tarlac toll road to be largely funded by the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC). Ding Cervantes
