Marcos has made five visits to the United States, becoming the foreign foreign country that he has visited the most during his administration.

The president's last visit to the US was in July 2025, meeting with President Donald Trump. The two presidents spoke at length about the tariffs that the US was about to impose on the Philippines.

Philippine Ambassador Jose Romualdez said Marcos had also invited Trump to attend the ASEAN Summit in the Philippines later this year.
