WATCH: ICC’s reopened probe into Philippines’ 'war on drugs' ruffles some feathers

Martin Ramos - Philstar.com

MANILA, Philippines — The International Criminal Court (ICC) has ordered the reopening of its investigation into the Philippines’ “war on drugs” after said probe was suspended in 2021.

This looming return of the ICC has been met with various reactions from different personalities including Justice Secretary Jesus Crispoin  Remulla and Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa.

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. earlier said that the country has no plans to rejoin the ICC after the country officially withdrew from the organization, which took effect in March 2019. — Video edited by Anj Andaya
