Casiño attended the Makabayan gathering here before meeting with local residents in public markets.

“His platform is exactly what the region needs - genuine land reform, nationalist industrialization, wage increases and low prices of basic commodities and good governance,” Roman Polintan, Makabayan-Central Luzon regional coordinator, said.

Unlike traditional politicians, he said Casiño continues to fight for the interests of farmers.
