Enrile admits having stem cell therapy
MANILA, Philippines - The 88-year-old Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile admitted yesterday that he had stem cell therapy just like former President Joseph Estrada.
“Well, I guess it gave me some energy. Actually, the treatment that I got was not in Germany but here,” Enrile said on ANC’s Headstart program.
“They came here. It (stem cell) gave me a little bit more energy but as far as restoring the quality of my organs like my eyesight, hearing, heart, lungs, kidney and so forth, I could not say because I still have a problem with my vision,” Enrile noted.
The Senate President, who is known for his sharp memory, added that the procedure did not have any effect on his memory.
“My memory has remained even before and after the stem cell,” he said.
