Four teams enter playoffs in MPL PH Season 13

MANILA, Philippines – With two weeks left in the Regular Season of the 13th season of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines, four teams have already secured their playoffs spot.

AP Bren's sixth man Vincent "Pandora" Unigo suited up for the hive as they swept TNC and Minana EVOS, 2-0, to book a playoffs slot with 27 points in the standings; while ONIC Philippines' 2-0 win against Smart Omega also propelled them to the playoffs at 24 points. For the likes of King "K1NGKONG" Perez, this is his first playoffs appearance since he joined the league back in 2023.

Bouncing back from back-to-back losses, Echo's wins against Smart Omega and RSG Philippines also secured them a playoffs slot with 22 points; while RSG Philippines advanced with 19 points in thrilling fashion by ending the seven-game win streak of ONIC Philippines.

With four teams already in the playoffs, the remaining four squads are in a race for the last two slots.

Blacklist International was able to stay alive in the running by surviving both Minana EVOS and TNC, 2-1, closing the points gap (Blacklist International's 14 points to Minana EVOS' 13 points) between them and the Tigers. TNC and Smart Omega's winless weekend kept them at four points each, with both teams hoping to win their remaining matches if they want to move on to the next round.

The regular season will continue on Friday, April 19, at 4 p.m. with Minana EVOS versus ONIC Philippines, followed by Echo versus TNC.
