MANILA, Philippines — The Japanese members of Twice — Mina, Sana and Momo — will debut as the K-pop girl group's first sub-unit on July 26, 2023, with a six-song mini-album.

The announcement comes ahead of the group's upoming comeback this March 10 with their 12th extended play "Ready to Be," preceded by their English single "Moonlight Sunrise," which came out last month.

Record label JYP Entertainment and the social media channels of Twice have been teasing trailer photos and videos of Misamo, a combination of the girls' names, wearing white outfits in a make-shift waiting station and corridor.

Solo trailers were also released, featuring Sana sipping and strutting by a city skyline, Mina entering and exiting a decadent dining area, and Momo sitting in front of a festive table. They  were dressed in black and silver-white.

Misamo already released the song “Bouquet” for the soundtrack of Japanese series "Liaison: Children’s Heart Clinic," which was well-received. The group will also appear on the cover of Vogue Japan’s March issue.

JYP Entertainment had previously announced that Twice will be having a "large-scale" world tour this 2023.

All the group's members renewed their exclusive contracts with the label last June, and a month later, Nayeon released her solo album. — Video from Twice Japan's YouTube
