Matty Juniosa secures finale spot after another Golden Buzzer in ‘Britain’s Got Talent’

MANILA, Philippines — Filipino singer Matty Juniosa is on his way to the finals of “Britain’s Got Talent” after earning another Golden Buzzer, his second in the show.
Aired on early Sunday morning (Philippine time), Matty took on the show’s stage by performing an electrifying cover of Aerosmith’s “Dream On,” accompanied by a backup choir.
The Filipino singer earned applauses from the audience and praises from the four judges.
“Stellar masterclass performance on how to deliver a Class A vocal. Well done!” judge Alesha Dixon said.
KSI called it fantastic, while Simon Cowell praised the Filipino singer for his “incredible” range.
Cowell was the first to give Matty his first Golden Buzzer in the show last March with the Filipino singer’s cover of Prince’s classic “Purple Rain.”
Amanda Holden, meanwhile, teased about her earlier conversation with the production crew about what happens if she does not press the button. She was told that if she did not use it, the audience will have to decide.
"I’m not giving it to the audience,” Holden said and pressed the Golden Buzzer button for the Filipino singer.
The act sends Matty straight to the “Britain’s Got Talent.”
