‘Faster than a Ferrari’: Vicki Belo rides MRT for 1st time
MANILA, Philippines — Doctor to the stars Vicki Belo revealed that it was her first time to ride the MRT in the hopes of arriving on time to Morissette’s concert.
Belo, a popular cosmetic surgeon, shared her very first MRT experience on her social media pages.
“First time to ride the MRT! Mas mabilis nga ang MRT compared to a Ferrari in Metro Manila!!!!!!” Belo wrote on her Instagram caption.
Her video shows her alighting from her vehicle on her way to one of the MRT stations. She tells her viewers that the traffic was so bad going to Morissette’s concert last Tuesday at the Araneta Coliseum.
Belo is seen purchasing a single journey ticket and went on to ride the priority trains. She was with two of her assistants. As she rode inside the first train, she asked the lady guard why it was not as jampacked as it is often depicted in viral videos and photos.
She was informed that she was in the priority coaches for seniors, pregnant women and passengers with children.
“First time. Exciting!” she said to her audience.
“There’s always a first time to do anything,” she added.
The clip ended with Belo informing her fans that she made it on time to Morissette’s “Ember” concert.
She added that it was worth it for her to take her first MRT ride as she caught the singer’s concert, whom she praised for a good show.
