Actor Patrick Dela Rosa dies, says Mindoro information office
MANILA, Philippines — Actor Patrick Dela Rosa has passed away.
In a Facebook post, Oriental Mindoro's Provincial Information Office announced the passing of its former board member.
"Taos-pusong nakikidalamhati ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa pamilya ng namayapang si Former Board Member Patrick Dela Rosa," the PIO wrote.
"Maraming salamat sa iyong mga iniwang ala-ala hindi lamang sa industriya ng pag-aartista, kundi maging sa pagbibigay-serbisyo para sa mga Mindoreño," it added.
Patrick was a known actor in the 1980s and 1990s portraying villain roles in different action movies.
Some of his notable movies are "Kristo", "Suspek", Ping Lacson: Super Cop" and "Ex-Con" to name a few.
After his showbiz and political career, Patrick and his family migrated to California, in the United States, where he became a businessman.
