Early Miss Earth winners

MANILA, Philippines — Eighty-six ‘eco warriors’ are competing in the 2017 Miss Earth grand finals on Nov. 4 (Saturday), 8 p.m. at the Mall Of Asia (MOA).

Here are early winners:

Left: Best in Swimsuit Lada Akimova, Russia (Bronze); Karen Ibasco, Philippines (Gold); and Karen Isabel Rojas, Peru (Silver), held in Versailles Palace Alabang on Oct. 11.

Top, left: Best in Talent Mona Taio, Cook Islands (Silver); Artemis Charalambous, Cyprus (Gold); and Le Thi Ha Thu, Vietnam (Bronze). With them is Allen Roxas, president/CEO of Versailles Palace Alabang who handed the winners cash (dollars) prizes.

Top, right: Best in Swimsuit Maire Lynch, Northern Ireland (Miss Pontefino Estates); Andreia Gibau, USA (Bronze); Karla Victoria Aponte, Puerto Rico (Gold); Sarah Laura Peyrel, Switzerland (Silver); and Diana Mironenko, Ukraine (Miss Pontefino Hotel), held in Pontefino Hotel & Estates, Batangas City on Oct. 14. The winners received cash prizes from executives Tommy Tantoco and Fely Ramos. The delegates planted trees in the Orchard farm the next morning.
