Pinay is 2015 Miss Mermaid Asia

MANILA, Philippines - Philippine bet Kayla Marie Partoza Talusan (photo), 23, a Culinary Arts student, won 2015 Miss Mermaid Asia at a pageant held in Hughada, Egypt, last Oct. 5 with 35 beauties competing. Other Continental Queens: Krystal Dawson (Australia), Gata Salvaje (Africa), Karen Eynde (Europe) and Zetzin Gutierrez (America). The 2015 Miss Mermaid International title went to Elli Frank of Germany. 

The contestants were judged in six categories: Face, figure, interview, creativity (decoration of mermaid costume), long-distance swimming and creative posing underwater.
