Bing Cristobal is red-carpet ready

MANILA, Philippines - Manila-based designer Bing Cristobal is one of the favorite fashion “magicians” relied on by TV and movie stars as well as beauty queens.

Bing has been participating in and organizing fashion shows locally and internationally, and has earned a following abroad. He recently concluded his international shows in Spain and Australia. Adding weight to his portfolio is the winning Sarimanok?inspired national dance costume he created for the 2013 Miss World Megan Young.

Bing takes pride in his humble beginnings: He first worked overseas before he found himself doing fashion design. Bing then decided to start anew and establish himself in his home country. His talent eventually earned the notice and endorsement of entertainment celebrities in the country, what with his designs stylish and up-to-date with the times.

Bing is also a production stylist who has dressed the newest and brightest stars with his almost two decades-long experience at ABS-CBN. On the side, he manages a talent agency called BC Talents.

This year, BC Talents has partnered with Starlink Asia in Indonesia for international talent booking of models and performers. Bing’s fashion design branding with FashionTV Indonesia will be showcased on Nov. 15 in an event titled 2015 Red Carpet Show in Manila. Bing is also bound for Hong Kong for a show on Nov. 30.
