Jasmine opens Celebrity Dance Battle Wild Card Edition

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - TV5’s Celebrity Dance Battle holds its much-awaited Wild Card Edition tomorrow, May 31, with Jasmine Curtis-Smith (photo) opening the show with her feisty dance moves. The star of her self-titled series which will premiere on June 1, Jasmine crosses over to the Celebrity Dance Battle arena to show that more than a pretty face, she also has what it takes to reign on the dancefloor.

Celebrity Dance Battle Wild Card Edition gives a second chance to four former celebrity contestants who will battle it all out on the dancefloor for the much-coveted grand finals slot. Leading the list of returning Celebrity Dance Battle contestants is Cycle 1 participant and transgender beauty and 2012 Miss International Queen titleholder Kevin Balot.

Meanwhile, Shalala of Cycle 2 will prove that he truly deserves to be a wildcard contestant. Two more celebrity contestants from Cycle 3 also return in their bid to make it to the final cut: Wilma Doesnt and Rafa Siguion-Reyna.

Who among Kevin, Shalala, Wilma Doesnt and Rafa will join Gary David, Priscilla Meirelles, Iwa Moto and Ciara Sotto in the grand finals? Their performances will have to pass through the expert scrutiny of the Celebrity Dance Battle judges composed of dance guru Douglas Nierras, dancing queen Edna Ledesma, dance diva G. Tongi and America’s Next Top Model runner-up Allison Harvard will definitely have a hard time judging this week’s celebrity contestants.

Hosted by Lucy Torres-Gomez and Semerad twins Anthony and David, Celebrity Dance Battle’s Wildcard Edition airs at 9:15 p.m.
