Gerald on Sarah-Matteo romance: Everybody should be happy

MANILA, Philippines - Does Gerald Anderson approve of the reported budding romance between former flame Sarah Geronimo and actor Matteo Guidicelli?

In an interview with ABS-CBN’s morning talk show “Umagang Kay Gandang,” the Kapamilya star was asked to comment on rumors linking Sarah and Matteo.

“This is in general—basta masaya ang lahat, everybody should be happy. Yun na lang,” he said on the taped interview aired Thursday, August 8.

Gerald will star in the upcoming ABS-CBN soap opera “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin.”

Talks about the rumored Sarah-Matteo romance began when the two, along with other Kapamilya stars, did a concert tour in the United States recently. Sarah has yet to talk about the issue, although Matteo has already denied the reports.

Gerald was previously linked to Sarah after a brief courtship period last year. The actor is now in a relationship with Kapamilya actress Maja Salvador.
