Nicole is now a Hapi housewife

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Nicole Hyala is embracing her new role as a housewife. And what better way for her to be the loving housewife, she says, than to be a good cook for the family?

“As they say, the quickest way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, so I’ve been really learning how to be able to cook well for my husband,” the 90.7 Love Radio DJ shares.

For some added inspiration, perhaps she can look up to her latest singing stint. Following on the heels of her previous hit, Mahal Kita Kasi, Nicole sings her first-ever branded jingle, Hapi-Hapi for Hapi Fiesta Palm Oil.

Nicole serves up the fun, tasty jingle with a nice music video to match, which can now be viewed on YouTube. The clips together with the song re-create a family bonding moment that every Pinoy household enjoys whenever a Krisprito meal is served.

“At first I was quite overwhelmed when I learned that I was going to sing their jingle. I did not expect that Hapi Fiesta Palm Oil would entrust me with that job. I was really excited,” she says.

“Thanks to the lyrics, the Hapi-Hapi song has also made me more eager to improve my cooking. A well-cooked meal makes a lot of difference after all; everyone’s happier after eating one,” she adds.

Since being married to Renly, Nicole has been itching to fry her husband’s favorite dishes.

“I especially like frying because it’s easier for me, and it tastes just as good. When it comes to fried food, Renly and I both love pork chop and especially fried chicken. Hopefully I’ll be as good of a cook as I am a DJ,” she says with a laugh.
