Tytana aces CPA board exam

MANILA, Philippines – Manila Tytana Colleges congratulates its pioneer batch of BS Accountancy graduates from its College of Accountancy and Management (CAM) as they obtained a 75 percent passing rate in the May 2016 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination.

Rose Ann P. Dolar, Grace M. Loring, and Jayson B. Realubit made their parents proud and alma mater fulfilled as they made a lifetime mark in Tytana’s history of academic excellence.

Realubit obtained a rating of 85.17.

The Professional Regulation Commission released the names of the 2,967 passers out of 6,925 examinees (42.84 percent) on May 24.

Dolar, Loring and Realubit were consistent performers academically.

Realubit graduated cum laude and was leader of the team that competed in the 17th Inter-Collegiate Finance Competition hosted by the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX), in partnership with JP Morgan Chase & Co., where they placed 9th among 93 schools nationwide. 

The three were recipients of scholarship grants from the Metrobank Foundation and Tytana where they enjoyed full coverage on tuition and miscellaneous fees, free board and lodging, book and uniform allowances, and monthly stipend.

The BS Accountancy is among the five programs in CAM that include BS Entrepreneurship and BS Business Administration with majors in Marketing Management, Operations Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Development Management, and Business Economics.

The two programs under the Center for Hospitality Management are BS Hotel and Restaurant Management and BS Tourism Management.

Tytana prepares graduates for the workplace through the academe-industry partnership. An established partnership with the Metrobank Group, internship program directed at real-world experience, classroom teaching enhanced with practical exposure and training as well as adjunct lecturers from the Metrobank Group of Companies ensure graduates who are industry-oriented, highly employable and always with an edge.

Tytana’s CAM prepared the three new CPAs and all Titans to become life-long learners who can manage and adapt to a fast changing business environment.

By providing them with experiences relevant to their workplace integration, Tytana envisions them as skilled and promising professionals whom employers such as members of the Metrobank Group seek.

Tytana is the educational arm of the Metrobank Group of Companies.

Over the years, it has established a standard of academic excellence.

Tytana offers Nursing, Psychology, Holistic Nutrition with Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Information Technology, Accountancy, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Tourism Management, Communication, and short courses in culinary arts, foreign languages and caregiving.

Recently, it opened its senior high school program with tracks in academic and technical-vocational livelihood areas.
