Smart kicks off iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus offers

MANILA, Philippines - Smart, the country’s mobile biggest network, kicked-off on Friday the sale of the highly anticipated iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The deal comes with competitive pricing and plans, convenient ordering system and unique perks for current customers and new subscribers alike.

Smart Stores began offering the new phones on November 14, with Smart holding iPhone 6 pop-up stores in SM Megamall and SM Aura. The phones are available through Smart Postpaid, Smart Infinity Plans and a no-contract Smart Prepaid Plan starting at P36,700.

The iPhone 6 (16GB) is being offered starting at Smart Postpaid Plan 999, with P800 monthly cash-out or a total of P1,799 per month. The iPhone 6 Plus (16GB), meanwhile, is also available starting at Plan 999 with P1,050 cash-out every month, or P2,049 per month.

Smart is also offering a retention upgrade to subscribers who will upgrade or change their plan or package to Data Plan 3000, and Smart is waiving the cash-out requirement for these subscribers for iPhone 6 64GB and iPhone Plus 16GB. For current subscribers with existing contracts, there is a Wipe Out Program that allows pre-termination of their current contract for a new iPhone contract at a discounted rate. For Wipe Out availment at Plan 800 and above, exclusive for iPhone 6 and 6+ handset variants, subscribers will be entitled to a free one-year handset insurance from Standard Insurance Co., Inc. The Wipe Out Program is open to qualified SMART Postpaid subscribers within contract (regardless of tenure).

Moreover, Smart Postpaid will be offering free rides via Uber to anyone who wishes to check out Smart’s iPhone 6 and 6 Plus offers this November 14-16, 2014. Uber users must use the promo code to avail of the two free rides. The promo code shall be valid for two rides: Ride 1 is from point of origin to selected Smart Store and Ride 2 is from selected Smart Store to point of destination within Metro Manila. Promo codes including store locations include the following: SMARTIPHONE6AURA, SMARTIPHONE6MEGA, SMARTIPHONE6SHANGRILA, SMARTIPHONE6POWERPLANT, SMARTIPHONE6GALLERIA, SMARTIPHONE6GREENHILLS and SMARTIPHONE6PODIUM.

New contract subscribers can also choose their own numbers, and Smart Postpaid will also be offering free access to three movies via the Blink app.

The Smart Online Store also offers easy and convenient ways of getting your iPhone. New subscribers and retention subscribers may apply anytime anywhere and may pay via credit cards, Bancnet ATMs and over-the-counter payments in partner banks such as BDO, Metrobank and BPI, and payment centers including LBC, SM Payment Counters, M Lhuillier, Robinson's Department Stores, Cebuana Lhuillier and Bayad Centers.
