MANILA, Philippines — Oil prices are expected to roll back for the first time in six weeks since the United States attacked Iran, Energy Secretary Sharon Garin said.

In a Facebook post, Garin said diesel prices are set to go down by P20.89 per liter.

Gasoline prices are expected to decrease by P4.43 per liter, while kerosene prices are seen rolling back by P8.50 per liter.

According to Garin, these would be the minimum rollback amounts for petroleum products.

Rollback estimates. "The price adjustments are based on the average of the last five days' international prices, and comparing that to the average of the previous week," the energy chief said.

As of April 10, diesel prices at petroleum stations ranged from P143 to P148 per liter.

Gasoline prices ranged from P99 to P100.20 per liter.

Meanwhile, kerosene prices stood at P164.10 per liter.
