MANILA, Philippines — Diners Club International Ltd., a Discover Financial Services-owned payment services company, and OmniPay Inc., an electronic money issuer and innovative payments market leader, signed to expand their existing agreement to include Forex Prepaid card issuance.

The new agreement allows OmniPay to issue Forex Prepaid cards that can be used outside of the Philippines on the Discover Global Network. The Discover Global Network includes Discover Network, Diners Club International, PULSE and affiliate networks.

“The expansion of our partnership with Discover, leading to the launch of OmniPay Forex Prepaid Diners Club cards, strategically allows us to bring more choices and benefits in our offerings to promote greater financial inclusion,” said Simoun Ung, president and chief executive officer of OmniPay Inc. “We hope to extend our products and services to new and emerging markets,” he added.

OmniPay is currently an existing acquirer and processor for Diners Club International and Discover e-commerce transactions.
