P&A Grant Thornton welcomes two new partners

MANILA, Philippines - P&A Grant Thornton announced the admission of two of its employees to the partnership. Joining the ranks of the firm’s esteemed partners are Wendell D. Ganhinhin and Sheryl G. Llovido.

Wendell, a certified public accountant, has over 20 years of professional experience in providing tax services to local and multinational companies in diverse industries. He specializes in tax compliance audit and tax due diligence work. Aside from doing tax planning work on corporate restructuring and making recommendations for tax-saving measures to clients, Wendell also represents clients in securing rulings and tax assessment cases before the Bureau of Internal Revenue.

On the corporate side, he handles incorporation and merger projects with the Board of Investments and the Philippine Economic Zone Authority.Wendell is also a recipient of the Primus Award, the highest form of recognition for individual excellence at P&A Grant Thornton.

Sheryl, has been in public accounting her entire professional career gaining extensive experience in the audit of various financial institutions such as lending, insurance and other financial services. She has also been involved in the audit of local and multinational companies in retail, distribution, manufacturing, and service industries. As a participant in P&A Grant Thornton global exchange program, she worked for nearly two years with Grant Thornton LLP in Portland, Oregon, USA. She also currently participates in the Advanced Manager Program sponsored by Grant Thornton International Ltd.

Sheryl has been with P&A Grant Thornton for 13 years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Magna cum laude from the Pamantasanng Lungsod ng Maynila.
