4 collegiate teams sasabak sa NSAC World Invitationals
MANILA, Philippines — Haharap sa matinding hamon ang apat sa mga pangunahing collegiate basketball teams ng bansa sa kanilang pagsali sa National Student-Athletes Championships (NSAC) World Invitationals sa Agosto 14 hanggang 16 sa Philsports Arena sa Pasig City.
Babandera para sa Pilipinas sa three-day at eight-team tournament ang San Beda University, Far Eastern University, University of Santo Tomas at ang bagong kampeon ng Filoil Cup na Jose Rizal University.
Dalawang koponan sa Japan at tig-isa sa Australia at Chinese-Taipei ang sasagupa sa apat na local teams sa torneong gagamitan ng FIBA rules.
“We need tough competitions to improve. And one way is to embrace FIBA rules, not just for our players but our coaches as well,” ani Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas 3x3 project director Ryan Gregorio sa PSA forum.
