Bianca climbs to 17th

MANILA, Philippines — Bianca Pagdanganan carded a two-under 70 as she climbed to a share of 17th halfway through the FM Championship in Massachusetts Friday.

Pagdanganan gunned down birdies on Nos. 3, 6 and 8 to start Round 2 and looked headed for a bogey-free outing at the TPC Boston until she dropped a shot on the par-5 18th.

With 139, the two-time Olympian faces a six-shot deficit against China’s Miranda Wang, who vaulted into the lead at 133 after firing a 67 in the rain-delayed round.
