Kaya, Mendiola seal YFL title clash

MANILA, Philippines -  Top seed Kaya FC and No. 2 Mendiola United FC disposed of their respective semifinal rivals recently to arrange an explosive duel for the Youth Football League’s U19 crown at Alabang Country Club.

Kaya, which swept the six-game elims, crushed fourth-ranked Ceres Youth, 7-1, while Mendiola, which won all but one of its assignments in the group stage, advanced with a 2-1 squeaker over No. 3 Global.

The Kaya-Mendiola Cup finale is set July 2 at McKinley Stadium.

MSA Agila, meanwhile, sent its representatives to the Cup finals in the U15 and U11 age brackets.
