Chot Reyes' 'blame game' backfires on social media
MANILA, Philippines - It was all praises for Gilas Pilipinas head coach Chot Reyes last year, but all those praises were replaced with criticisms after the disappointing performance of the team in the ongoing 17th Asian Games.
Chot was under fire in social media after back-to-back losses against Qatar and South Korea in the quarter finals and for playing the 'blame game' against Marcus Douthit.
The local basketball fans took on Twitter to show their disappointment over the coach given that the Gilas' performance in the recently held FIBA world cup was nothing but outstanding.

I want Tim Cone to coach Gilas Pilipinas! Very wrong move by Chot Reyes benching Marcus Douthit for the entire game.....

I hate to say I told you so. From the very start, #chotreyes is the team's biggest liability.
