'The Voice' season 12 premieres in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — Well-loved, three-time Emmy Award-winning talent show "The Voice" premieres in the Philippines on February 28, exclusively on Star World, FOX Networks Group (FNG) Philippines’ number one female-oriented general entertainment channel.

Gwen Stefani returns as one of the judges in the season premiere, reunited with Blake Shelton. Celine Dion joins Gwen as an adviser for more girl power; while Blake will showcase great dynamics with Luke Bryan, who he has co-hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards with. Adam Levine pairs up with John Legend, and Alicia Keys, on her second season in "The Voice," teams up with award-winning hip hop artist DJ Khaled.

“'The Voice' continues to search for the next best voice that will shake the music industry to the core,” says FNG programming manager Ehm Ignacio.

“Last season, we had a 30 percent increase in ratings and we are looking at greater ratings this season,” he adds.

On its 12th season, "The Voice" airs only on Star World with live telecasts every 2 p.m., with primetime replays at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
